My name is Amy a.k.a StarvnRtist or FatCatCreations and I am a self-taught artist,  I have been drawing and painting all my life. 

I started out taking my moms drawings and copying those, I drew what I saw.  

Now, I am a SAHM and do custom work on the side, I can paint just about anything:  flowers, portraits, animals, nudes, abstract, etc.

*Drawing and painting is my passion, but I enjoy many other styles of creativity.

I love 'playing' with polymer clay, I make ornaments ~ I recently started making Expecting Ornaments (see Gallery), I feel these are a fun way to celebrate a pregnancy.

I also use polymer to add dimension to canvas art pieces: this is a 3D Rose, I call it ~ Sexy Pink Passion.

I love stained glass too, I love the colors and just the way it looks when the sun hits it...I do not work with it the traditional way (would love to learn), but in my own little way that works for me.

I like making lil monster/love monster dolls with my sewing machine, the details are all hand sewn on.  The monsters are under stuffed so they are soft and extra squishy.  My kids love them!

I love photography, I do not have a big fancy camera (1 day, I hope), but I do what I can with what I have.  I do not like professional poses, but what I like to call 'in the moment' pictures and 'up close and personal (flowers, buildings, random objects)'.
